Is this a Barbie? You know what hapens to Barbie?
Barbie represents everything I used to hate about myself when I was a kid. Oh, I like her shoes so I’ll keep her shoes. [..] Bitches in stilettoes.
I’ve missed you so much! It’s been so crazy, every nights, I receive pillows and signs.
You might be very excited about the new album, hun? I can’t say very much about it. Usually I would release a new information but tonight there’s an enourmous amount of people from my record label. So you might hear an auditible scream from the audience.
Repeal DADT message from Gaga
Hi guys, it’s Gaga. I’m just here to give you all here an update on what’s going on in Congress with ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’. Right now, we’re looking at tomorrow being a very important date for you guys all to be really paying attention. The Senate needs to get this bill passed this year to repeal ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ otherwise it could take years for it to happen, social repression is currently running rampant in this country, as many of you know. Kids are being led to believe that it’s okay to hate and condemn based on our differences, and this recent horrific news of gay suicides is really proof of out social repression, and ultimately, government repression that is killing our youth. We have to end this law, because it reinforces discrimination, and it’s setting a bad example. Tomorrow, the Pentagon will release its studies to implement the repeal of ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’. We’ve known for many years that an overwhelming majority of Americans are ready to repeal, and according to these recent statistics and studies, the Pentagon studies show that the majority of men and women in uniform, are soldiers that feel the same way. Which is great news. Senators, you have been put under this by me, and by the people of this country. You said you would debate and address this law when the Pentagon returned with a strategy, and tomorrow morning, you will have it. So, will you keep your word? Please keep your word. Little monsters, go to sldn.org/gaga to join me and make repeal happen now. I love you all so much, and just as a side note, as a performer, this issue means so much to me, and I know that sometimes political activism, when you’re a pop singer, can be kind of trivial, but in truth, I feel very close to all of you, and I feel like I share a very special connection with my fans. That I feel like I can speak for you, and you’re screaming, “please end this law, equality for all.” Bye.

Before Telephone, the Little Monsters in the audience raised their “Born This Way” signs.
“I want to say thank you so much. I don’t know what I would, I don’t know what I would do without all of you. You’re the most… I don’t even know what to say. I just promise… I just promise that…I don’t even know … I promise to you, I’ll never let you down. And not for nothing: The album’s finished and it’s fucking really good, so whatever this is, whatever you just did for all of us … this thing you just did, I promise to give you the greatest album of this decade, just for you.The funny thing is that some people reduce freedom to a brand, you know, they think that it’s trendy now to be free. They think it’s trendy to be excited about your identity. When in truth, there is nothing trendy about ‘Born This Way.’ ‘Born This Way’ is a spirit, and it is this connection that we all share. It is something so much deeper than a wig or a lipstick or an outfit or a meat dress. ‘Born This Way’ is about us, ‘Born This Way’ is about what keeps us up at night and makes us afraid. I love you so much and thank you so deeply for all you’ve done.”
